‘I am fortunate to have found Michael, and if you are reading this, you are too. I stumbled upon Michael at the Phoenixville Farmer’s Market, and immediately identified with his approach as a health coach (he has some fancy titles, but ‘coach’ works for me). At the time, I was lost in a world of diets, supplements, gurus, workout programs, and all sorts of conflicting dogmas. In the end, I regained my health to a great degree ad I feel like a teenager again (I’m 41). I’m a satisfied customer. But it wasn’t easy.
It’s a different business model that he follows - pretty much the opposite of how medicine works today - but it works and produces lasting results. Why?
Michal taught me to fish, when everyone else just want to sell me a fish.
His approach isn’t based on dogma. It demands an open mind and the will to experiment. It takes engagement and listening to your body.
Something so simple as questionnaires led to deep, structural introspection. Why was I sick growing up? What are the potential sources of my foggy thinking? How had my exercise choices affected my health? What role did my military service as an infantryman play in my health situation? How might my environment be toxic? What are the stressors in my life of which I’m not even aware? Am I capable of adding lean mass? Why doesn’t trying harder and ‘being smarter’ work? What can normal look like for me? What do I really want in life and am I at peace with my choices? How does the best version of my healthy self support the pursuit of my dreams?
No doctor that I’m aware of will help you work through these critical questions.
Having had lots of tests performed before meeting Michael, I was skeptical of more testing. But they provided clues. It was the educational discussions and Michael fielding my questions which empowered me to think through to the truth about myself, my lifestyle, and my place in society and all of its dysfunctions, especially th medical industry that isn’t oriented on solving my issues.
Michael is a true gift to me and our community. He’s a coach, and a coach tells you what you need to hear, not that there’s some easy way or shortcut. And regarding wellness, th old adage applies here: only a fool (like me) has himself as a coach.’
